About Higgason Cattle Co

Higgason Cattle Company was started in April of 2024 with two brothers, Nick and Luke. Both sides of the family had gotten out of farming and ranching for several years, we started buying local rancher’s calves after weaning and raising the calves all the way to harvest. We are a grass fed, grain finished operation. Grazing on native pasture or rye/triticale pasture then going to the feedlot. Nick had the opportunity to buy back the family farmyard and has since started to build the herd back to where we are today. We sell beef direct to consumer. Sell 1/4s, 1/2s or whole beef and then also have several beef boxes for sale as well. We have a lot of the normal beef cuts as well as beef jerky and summer sausage, we sell hats, hoodies, and shirts too. We are unique in the fact that we do not own any cows and source all of our calves from local ranchers to keep product as local as possible. We are also unique because most kids that do not have a farm to go back to do not start one back up after seeing both sides of the family sell out.
